But can it negotiate a corner?

It will probably out-perform the 370Z at VIR.

i think someone mentioned it but it does say MSRP is 40k on a Boss mustang

Not sure on a GT500. when they changed to the aluminum block in the GT500 it finally got decent handling reviews.

Im not a fan of the new camero, it does look pretty good and they sell great but just not a drivers car. I like the feel of my Z.

I would love to drive one of these new Boss' though. When will Ford stop acting like Porsche and change the rear suspension from live axle to a independent setup. How much better would the car be??

On track... not really that much better at all. On the street, depending on how good the IRS setup is, the car would handle rough pavement better. But otherwise it doesn't matter all that much.

Though I think it's been confirmed that the next generation Mustangs are going to be a few hundred lbs lighter than current and will be equipped with IRS.

Well, I'm probably going to buy a next gen just because. You can have that one after I have it for ~18 months.

I need to find an intermediary willing to hold it for 30 days then get an Altima, though.

Agree. IRS is just about bumps. Sadly, real roads have bumps.

There have only been a few times where I could feel a noticable difference over the bumps with the 5.0 vs. my 370. The road would have to be really bad... so bad that you wouldn't be driving fast on it in any car.

The difference really isn't that big.

Like I've said a few times before, not all IRS is created equal. Ever compare the Z to the Cayman S? There's quite a big difference in how the two cars perform over uneven surfaces.

True, even a V6 mustang banging off the 114mph speed-limiter all the way down the straights is within 1/2 second of the 370Z NISMO around VIR.
