2012 Camaro

6.2L Supercharged V8 engine
Intercooled Eaton supercharger. All-aluminum V8 expected to have at least 550 horsepower. Blinding acceleration, top-end performance and proven reliability coexist happily under the hood

Or the awful steering wheel? Or interior? Or seating position? Or zero headroom? Or awful visibility, or...

dont stop!

That would be the ZL1 you are talking about, and it will still be overweight with a sub-par interior and so-so driving dynamics. They are decently comfortable though!

Chevy is saying the motor and SC will be the same as the setup on the CTS-V with similar numbers (this will be the ZL1). Chevy is also saying that they will later release a track pack car with an LS motor. The track pack car might be called the Z28.

this car will be in the BOSS 302 price bracket, if the numbers hold true and reflect performance then the Boss just became a huge subordinate

More like in the GT500 price bracket in which case the ZL1 starts off as a slight subordinate. :D

well i saw a BOSS 302 at the ford dealer when i was flirting with a 5.0:stirthepot: , and it was listed at 48k, they keep saying that the ZL1 is going to be about 47k...so am not to sure

The problem is the Boss is a NA V8 where the ZL1 is a supercharged V8.
The ZL1 will be paired against the GT500 or whatever Ford does next, GM is already scrambling to find something to compete against the Boss. Hence the reason they said the Z28 might live as a NA V8 soon.

The plan that I heard is that the ZL1 is to fight the Shelby Mustang, while the Z28 is more track focused and will fight the Boss. But I could be mistaken.

Could be, i usually see comparos in price brackets vs how they Modded but i think yall are right these are specifically meant for each other boss vs z28 shelby vs zl1
