Walk into the dealership and tell them you're there to pick up your Corvette. When they look at you all confused and ask to see your sale documents, present them with your 1040. "Paid in full."

On the looks department the 5.0 does not have anything against the Z. The Z looks like a exotic car. Just add a stillen S/C on the Z and you will have the best of both worlds (speed and looks). BTW the are a lot of other cars that the Z is going to be faster than, camaro, challenger maybe a GTR

I'd rather have the new Camaro over the Mustang. It's a shame they don't offer Nav and the z28 isn't out yet. The interior is pretty bad though.

I think the new GT looks are improved, but I wish it looked more like the prototype did when it first came out.

Well, front engine was enough compromise for me, four seats would be going too far!

Comparing C&D specs for my favorite 370Z & the GT, they don't seem that far off:
Code:
                                 Mustang 370Z
Zero to 60 mph: 4.6 sec 4.6 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 11.0 sec 11.3 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 19.8 sec 21.1 sec
Street start, 5–60 mph: 5.1 sec 5.1 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 13.2 sec @ 109 mph 13.1 sec @ 108 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 146 mph 156 mph
Braking, 70–0 mph: 153 ft 161 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.94 g 0.91 g
Though Roadholding and Braking for the 370Z seems a little sad.

the 0-60 on that mustang looks a bit slow, should be more of the low 4 second range

C&D's test mustang didn't have the 3.73 rear end. They literally got the worst numbers for the Mustang I've ever seen and tied for the best for the 370Z. C&D must love them some ferin cars.

Rag tests are worthless.

Honestly, Dreamer really said it best: get whatever makes you happy and don't worry about anything else.
