Sure they can afford to fix it-- it's just unnecessary expense-- in terms of cash, as well as time and stress. Especially if stressed items start going bad close to a major event or whatever. It's just an avoidable issue...
That said, I ran no wheelie bar on my S, and that f'er ran 9's...
