Mark at Mazworx knows the DE quite well. He even has a billet block for it. The bottom end of a DE is not as strong as our VQ37VHR.

Im honestly just debating to stay with the simpler route and just boost stock block... ~550 94 maybe 650hp on e85.

Take your time. You can always go for more later when a properly built engine can be bought.
