Let me go see what I missed...

Best of luck Random. No fault for dreaming, but make sure you know what you are dreaming about, otherwise it becomes a nightmare quick.

Edit: And I don’t frequent the forced induction sub forum so I knew little about cupcakez’s story. I guess that’ll be my next homework, courtesy of Chuck haha.

Edit#2: ahhh I see, the “other thread” is cupcakez’s thread and he sold his Z for a Q60, not Random.
Dreams, can lead to night nightmares...black hole endeavors start as dreams and become worst than nightmare as you are in the worst leve of hell, limbo! You are constantly falling further and further down the hole that has no bottom. The only way out is to sell your car and get therapy for the trauma. Even when you are done you are never done just ask Chuck and Spooler.

LMAO I can anyone hear me as I am trying my way to the other side myself!

Thanks.. You weren't being too harsh you were just being honest thats fine I thank you for that. I do need to go more in depth in my research and learn more because at the stage I am at it does not seem likely I will make my power goals. From seeing what everyone is telling me about my power levels it seems that I will just store e85 in my house and fill up on that when I want more power as it seems 800whp on pump is in fact a dream. I thank all of you guys for your responses and help as ya'll are helping me for free after all haha.

Honda....plain amd simple. That or a Coyote. Zr1 or Srt something might be a safe bet. I guess my only real questions is what is the purpose of the car? You already know you don't need massive hp to set certain track goals. Is this for drag? Or is it just for bragging rights. Just do your research bro and set back some cash and you'll be fine! 👍👍👍👍

The bottom line is to reach 800whp it will cost you $35k US minimum with all the supporting parts to do it right. Ask me how I know and I already had most the stuff to get me there and $35k is on the light side.

Just to put that in perspective I paid 35k for my car in 2012. That is why everyone has stated it cheaper to buy a car that is already close to your goal. Hell you can get a used GTR in the 60k range or less now.

A good 09 CBA GTR can be had for even low 50’s. If you are serious, below link are some pointers. Scroll down to “buying used”. Look for transmission software update, records of launch control used, records on fluid temperatures.

I asked in the other thread if you have ever had an 800hp car? I can tell you now that if you use a quality turbo kit and stick to around 580whp on 93 octane you may be just as happy as a lark. Try to push to where I did was one heck of a learning experience. Folks today still spew their BS on you don't need this or that. All you need is X. Most of it is lies. I have been straight up in my thread. Last December was freaking painful when the headgasket popped. You want to see the highs and lows of a build. It's in the thread. I posted it so everyone could benefit from it. It seems we still have folks pushing their agenda. When things go south you will get the "That's part of modding crap". Don't be stupid or you will be broke with a car that is broke.

By the way, Nitish21 up in your areas buddy just popped his stock motor at 727hp. They were told not to do it, it wasn't wise. Well, that engine popped. Now, his buddy better do some research on what to do. If he does not, he will pop another one and be out the game more than likely. Just in trying and I repeat trying to talk with Nitish21, He doesn't get it. Instead he wants to laugh in my face and believe what his clout buddies tell him. Well good luck. Another train wreck is on the way. Sometimes people are just stupid. I am done preaching and my helping other folks is just about done. Idiots have worn out other folks welcome.

By the way. Since I now have more power my car is a freaking monster. It is difficult to drive well. I have years of turbo car driving experience. 718whp is a dang good spot and fun. I am going to need to work on the traction issues. Back in the blackhole I go.

Yup, I told him the head gaskets were going to let go. He didn't listen. I told him where to go to get a Quality engine build, Mazworx or SOHO. He was more interested in how they did it. I know how but I would not tell him the details. Needless to say, he didn't like that. He was expecting me to give up what they worked hard on for free. Not happening. Plus, I promised I would not. I payed for it, he needs to do the same.
