My sister has an Camry GT. It's a really nice car and she saved up for over two years to get it. Why would you make fun of it? That just stinks! I think my sister and I are owed an apology. : ( |

Really? I'm just talking about the 2 cars in question. First I'm kicking Camaro propaganda. Now I think the Z4 and Supra are the only w cars in the word... U take mad shyt outta context. |

That's like saying given all sports cars, you'd rather have the Toyota 86 because it beat the BRZ in cornering. |

They're inherently twins... you know each car was tuned totally different right? You make no sense. Between those 2. I didnt say out of all the sports cars in the world!!! Wtf is wrong with you? You have the attention span of a peanut. :gtfo2: Let me ask you a question.... you bought your Z new or used? |
A local videographer, competitive driver, track instructor, and all-around great guy I know just did a mini review and lap.
The track is Toronto Motorsport Park in Cayuga, Ontario. 1:22 is not blisteringly fast, but it’s not bad, either. On street tires and otherwise bone stock. This one is owned by 11Tenths Racecraft, and is sure to get “breathed on” shortly. |
Here's a mini review on the supra of someone who has driven a Z4 and giving a street driving review. Its gonna be interesting to see this car evolve. Even if the corvette tears it a new a--hole. |
Smoking tire on track is impressed with the Supra.
He said they had a lot of opportunities to mess it up and they didn't. |

First driving comparo of Z4 and Supra.
https://youtu.be/wvE1GCXcOTs
Tuning wise... very different cars it seems. Z4 more cruiser than sports car in its tuning. Supra pure sports. People keep talking about not being able to drive the Supra with the window open. For me. That alone is s deal breaker. |
What is the deal with the window??

Somebody Has Already Tuned The New Supra To 420 Horsepower |
The new supra will be doing high 11's in the 1/4 mile which just bolt-ons. This is just a ecu flash and POV it is doing 12.1 impressive.

https://www.supraforums.com/threads/...a-tune.931633/ I just really expected more, given the decade and a half that's passed. I get it, the new Supra's 420hp is likely more reliable than the 1993's, and the turbos will last longer at that PSI, blah blah blah, but how would you feel if the 2029 "370Z" made 330whp with bolt-ons and a tune? You'd be calling for Nissan's head on a platter and talking trash 6 ways from Sunday about how they screwed this up beyond your wildest nightmares. |
Texas shop offering supra manual conversion

This is the best Supra news to date for enthusiasts. Though for me. The window buffering issue is a deal breaker. But plenty of fans are gonna go nuts when this gets out! |
B58 motor is much better than most think. Interesting link to view - https://jalopnik.com/watch-this-firs...upr-1837213368
|
Yeah, I think a lot of people coming from the JDM and Toyota fanbase have no idea about the lineage of the B58, and I'll admit I'm not that familiar myself, apart from it stemming from a long development of the N55, maybe just going sideways with VANOS. Of course it would've been nice to see Toyota show their hand at a performance engine again, but this can't be called a write-off just yet.
That aftermarket manual is something of a game-changer — with depreciated Supra. Not to beat a dead-horse, but Supra at MSRP + this $12k, in the face of what the C8 offers for the money...still a weird one to swallow imo. |

It's honestly great that the Supra is showing out to be better than assumed. So far it's surviving anything being thrown at it (albeit in just this short month or so).
Still a weird place to be. If you had to make the most out of your money, still can't be sure if this has made its case. Yet at the same time, the C8 has a major lead time, and literally no driving reviews to date preceding the possible first year flaws, so there is the case that some people are willing to bite on the Supra for being accessible while it keeps showing more promise to hold itself together. |
