It is just the Gazoo Racing prototype, but I love what I am seeing when imagining it without all the extra body parts.

really hard to tell whats going on since they have a full wide body and graphics on it. Might as well be the concept FT1 again.

Still eager to see the production version though.

That's completely crap then, if this new supra is overpriced with only 340hp and no manual offered Toyota can keep their hyped up sports car then. At least GM is still offering a manual with 7speeds even with their 600hp z06.

As long as it is a DCT then I am in. I enjoyed the quick and manual shifting of the BMW M240i's automatic transmission, so I will look forward to the F1 style shifting of DCT. Nowadays I see a manual transmission a tantamount to having a crank starter instead of an electric one. If you want performance and longevity, you wan a DCT.

If Toyota does produce a new body style Toyota Supra it will not be priced so the average person can afford it which is a good thing and production numbers will be limited also. Hopefully Toyota can have a turbo powerplant in the Toyota Supra.

That's not in question. It's been confirmed that it's using a BMW turbo inline 6. That's been confirmed for months, if not years.

I have seen no confirmed production specs whatsoever. Every morning the first thing I do is a search on "toyota supra". Please provide this information because I have been dying to see it.

Then you've undoubtedly seen this. Not a concrete release from Toyota, but pretty solid info from a BMW leak. If you're waiting for something official from Toyota, you'll have to wait until the car is in showrooms.

Oh yeah, definitely seen it. Toyota must have hired someone from the CIA or other intelligence agency to orchestrate this psyops pre-marketing campaign because they definitely have writing about it to get all this buzz. Good thing that I am OK with delayed gratification

Hopefully they are setting us up by setting different expectations and surprising us with an electric supercharged, Toyota produced inline 6 (it's a nice fantasy).

Regardless I would be accepting of a BMW inline 6 as I was very impressed with the one in the M240i...that thing liked to get and keep going! Match that with the low center of gravity and hopefully sub-3000lb weight, I am definitely a Toyota buyer!

Yeah, the turbo six is the best thing BMW has going for them right now. Given that there's no way in hell Toyota's accountants will let them develop another indestructible motor like the 2JZ, this is better than anything they have brought to the table lately.
