Default Found a new DD, 2015 GMC Sierra SLE

Well the deals are just to good right now, i have a dealer working on a stock transfer for the new DD. still going to run the Z till spring though, I want over 400k on it! If they can do the transfer the truck will sit in my garage for the winter while I start the mods.

CAI, Header back exhaust, 4/7 drop, 22's, tuner, bed cover, and audio will be stage 1. Stage 2 will be a EForce Supercharger the spring after. Want to make sure all is good first.

The deals on full-size trucks are crazy nowadays. I took advantage of the GMC Black Friday sale last year and grabbed a '15 Sierra 1500 SLE Z71 2WD in Black Onyx. It's a crew cab with a short bed. So far it got paint correction with 22PLE coating, clear bra, Weathertech floorliners, tinted windows, Lund 5" wheel-to-wheel black step bars, HRE 546 wheels in 20x9.5, and a bed mat. In the plan are spray-on bedliner, Hellwig anti-sway bars, Timbren bellows, and McGaughys suspension with an aim at 3"/5" lowering (drop spindles, height-adjustable front dampers, lowering spring packs, drop shackles, shorter rear dampers, and deleting lift blocks).

That's going to look sweet! I'm going with a bed rug, and clear bra as well. Husky gave me a set of Xact contour floor mats that are going in.

Everybody needs a hobby, I guess, but trucks aren't mine. I agree about the current deals, however. I picked up this 3/4 ton full-cab to use for trailering boats and horse trailers, and for driving after I put the Z away on the day of the first snow forecast. It's a nice truck, and very viable transportation. I will say, it's probably the quietest vehicle I've ever owned, or at least seems so compared to the Z.

Whats even crazier is how many americans are coming up to buy our vehicles at a 30% discount. With our dollar ******** the bed our auction companies are sending the vehicles south by the trainload haha.

Kinda like the same thing that happened when our $$ went par with the USD.

Whats crazy is current list prices on new trucks, 60k + for a damn pickup is ridiculous.

SO my headers, high flow cats and intake also showed up at work, picking them up tomorrow. Just waiting on my exhaust and bedrug at this point. then I can start the "build".

I sold my SLE last week. I'm thinking about picking up another since there is the 20% off sale again but with less number of eligible trucks it seems this time around. I'm also "hunting" for a '15 Camaro Z28 now; even more massive discount (than for GMC Sierras) can be found here and there.

Pic of the truck today...
So I've now got the AFE headers and Hi Flow Cat'ed Y Pipe, AFE Momentum CAI, SCT tuner and the 4-7 Belltech drop kit done. Just Cat back kit, wheels/tires and audio left.
