One of the powertrains under its hood will be a strengthed by 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-inline with 211 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque paired with electric motor. Under the hood of the stronger 2016 Nissan Z will be 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 engine that produces 400 horsepower mated with electric motor. Both engines will transfer energy through automatic transmission on rear wheels. It’s rumored that this powerplant might use a hybrid system similar to Honda’s Integrate Motor Assist (IMA) system. |
