As some of us speculated. The mercedes Benz sourced 3.0TT lives in the Q60. Which gives us strong hope the Z35 may be a monster and possibly bring the Z back to it's former tuner prowess of the old turbo Z's.

Under the hood of the stronger 2016 Nissan Z will be 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 engine that produces 400 horsepower mated with electric motor. Both engines will transfer energy through automatic transmission on rear wheels. It’s rumored that this powerplant might use a hybrid system similar to Honda’s Integrate Motor Assist (IMA) system.

Not to toot my own horn, yes I am, I've been saying for a year this is what it's getting. Lol. However, if if true, ford alwYs seems a way to trump nissan 14 months into new model. Though assuming the electric proves trustworthy in the Z35, I'm curious to see what Ford responds with...they don't have much on the table with electric stuff. Man, that junk is INSTANT torque too. My doc friend has a Tesla S and....omg!!!
