7sp manual would be awesome. Let's face it, no one goes 55 on the highway.

I don't know if Nissan has a 7MT in their parts bin. I'm guessing a 6MT and 7AT will be the options, but you never know.

So talking to Seb, the car has 2 sets of cats. These tests were done with secondary down pipes, meaning the main cats (he said the main ones were pretty wide so that's good at least) were still in place. This means those who want to maintain stock cats (at leat the primaries) can still run some partial downpipes for gains and those who don't care can get better gains than these (all of which are pre-tune BTW). This is all for the q50 which I assume will be the same on the q60. Not sure if the z35 setup will be the same.

I'm praying we get shocked with a 7DCT on Nismo models.... That's the holy moly long shot of the century. But one must keep hope alive...

Cats? Nah those will all be gone if they make a z and I get ahold of it.

Full straight exhaust

That means there is probably still a good bit of power yet to be unlocked. Are the secondary cats the ones with the secondary O2's? If so, and if they haven't done any tuning yet, did they see any evidence of a pending code or CEL?

Not that those are deal breakers by any stretch, but just be good to have an idea what we're in for.

Also, if no tuning yet, was it running approximately stock level of boost? I'm guessing so if they can't adjust fueling or ignition advance yet.

Oh, I almost forgot -- was that the one rated to 400 or 300? I'm guessing the former. Although, gain, looks like besides tune, the major differences are a speed sensor for the turbos and beefier motor mounts.

Don't have the answers to those questions, but ti was the 400. They were supposed to have a 300, but fell through.

No tuning boost was around 14psi stock after exhaust it was mid 15's.

It was a 400hp model and baseline was around 360whp i believe.

The Q60 will probably feel like it has no soul at the wheel. But on the pedal. It's gonna kick some serious ***....

Interesting. So then one option would be to delete the second cat but not the first... I guess a lot of the power comes from the downpipe swap tho, which I'm guessing eliminated the first cat.

Hm. Anybody know if the fuel injectors and fuel pumps are the same between the two variants as well.

If not, I'm starting to think the 300 hp model + Nissan p/n turbo speed sensor + upgraded motor mounts from somewhere + uprev tune = 400 hp Z on the cheap.

Well, assuming everything is plug and play interchangeable.
