anyone else notice the Q60 has "available 400hp twin turbo" but no where can you configure anything over the 3.0L 300hp.

at this rate, the c7 z06 is a much better buy at 79k msrp. It's got monstrous 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque for a fraction more. Oh, if only weighs in a little over 3500 lbs. quarter mile in 10.9 for the auto and 11.2 for the 7 speed. You can't beat that SUPER-CAR performance for the price. The Z at the end of the day is still just a SPORTS-CAR.

Why are we comparing the z06 to the q60 now? The q60 si going to be more GT and luxury and is going to be 20k less after spec-ing it out. Is the z06 a better performance bargain? Yes. They are different cars however and 20k is still a decent chunk of change. The Z will cost less than the q60 and be a better car to compare (though not in the same league) as the z06.

I am surprised the z06s are going so cheap. Are they not selling well? Is the overheating autos part of the reason?

According to the attached report, the production of the C7 Z06 has been halted until the overheating fix is finalized. When production resumes, the new cars will have the fix already installed, but the article insinuates that owners of the previous version will have to pay for the fix via a retrofit.
