Yes Ericksen- it was their demo special and the loaner I got was the Altima 2.5s

The part they are now waiting on is the Intake Valve Sprocket

That's just it though summer is half gone..next week ill call Nissan Canada. Warranty request will be following up on.

As for meets for sure if it comes back before the snow

Ok got the car back finally today

no issues thus far, there was quite a bit of work done on the bottom end

my question is..what sound is this when lets say higher rpm and from the gear knob you hear like electricity zapping (is that the fuel pump?)

its hard to explain but sounds like electricity shock etc its not loud but definitely when engine is being used

only say fuel pump as it was briefly mentioned here:

Constant electrical buzzing sound from rear - Nissan 350Z Forum : 350Z / 370Z Tech Forums

not sure what you mean, but some folks had issues with the collar inside the knob buzzing when running aftermarket knobs.

i removed that collar completely on mine when i installed my weighted knob.

Can't he use these problems as strong leverage towards a great deal on a new Z? I'd get rid of this car ASAP.

As long as they continue to attempt to fix you have no legal recourse... I don't believe lemon laws apply to used cars (that I know of).

Try to get the sound on recording and post it... that way people can say if it is normal or not.

Glad to hear you have the car back. Bring it out to one of our Sunday meets and someone can help you with the noise I'm sure.

Guess what guys - happy to report issue has been resolved!!

After I almost had the troubleshooter lady come by from Global News, Ericksen Nissan bought back the Roadster completely and gave a big discount on a 2011 Black Coupe Z

The car is bone stock, so its mod time!
