Default 09 6 speed 370z Twin Turbo, Built motor. BIG PROB!!

Sooo... i got a custom Twin Turbo built 370z at 13 psi rite now makes low 600's..

here is what i get today. i go for my oil change and we go to pull off the oil filter and cant get it off. its wedged in extreemly hard by my o/c ( oil cooler ) line.. so i unscrew the o/c line and pull off the filter. there is a literal pin hole that had been warn into the filter and oil was barly starting to creep its way out. i figured lets test it out so i change oil new filter re attach everything... dyno. 610* first run 630* second 635* third. 344 the 4th pull. !!! the o.c line vibrates on the filter and its so harsh that it put a hole in it and at around 5k rpm when i hit complete full boost and powerband really kicks,. this is how my macanic explanes...

" 60 psi of 8 quorts of hot oil shot out. were very lucky no fire started. "

what should i do to fix this GOOD! please help. i had few people say get a 1 inch extention from were the o.c line connects so it can be bent out of the way.

First off your posting in the wrong section, secondly how is that you have a small problem that your installer cant resolve that you have to post it here? and you have not bothered to mention what setup you're running as well as Pics of your issue, so how do you expect to be taken seriously.

Someone installed the turbo setup. It is their responsibility to do it correctly and that includes proper routing of the oil lines.

Sounds like a pretty easy "plumbing" fix. A little re-routing and/or line extension should solve this.

Nothing annoys me more than somebody who has a shop do this kind of work when they can't comprehend what they even did

Honestly, if I could understand the original post, I'd be inclined to help, but I cannot. I have no idea why you would be dyno testing a 600 WHP car when you know you have something wrong with your oil cooling/filtering system. That's just STUPID. That would be like a NASCAR team running their car with only half of the oil sump full during qualifying just to see if it would work OK...

Looks like he already tried that at the strip and ended up running a 12 with 600+ rear WHP.

That's Supra status right there.

Uhhh... if all of this is true, and you lost over 300 whp on the 4th pull, I'd be doing a compression test too...

What shop are you at? Or is this a buddy's garage...?

As to the fix, if the problem is vibration related, maybe some better bracketry... pics?
