Default Passenger Window Doesn't Fully Roll Up

Title says it all, the passenger side window does not fully roll-up.

There's a small gap in the top left corner between the window and the weather stripping, the gap is enough that I can hear the wind coming through it at high speeds.

I've attempted to 'reset' the windows by holding the window button up for 5 seconds until I hear it click, but it didn't change anything.

Has anyone else experienced this? What was the fix?

IIRC, the proper sequence is:
From the driver side control, press and hold the button to run the passenger window down, continue holding button for five seconds after window is completely down. Pull and hold button to run window up, hold for 5 secs.

Edit: I may have that backwards, ie, up then down. This has been discussed several times, so it will be easy enough to verify - search is your friend.

You're correct. I do it every spring after plugging the battery back in.

Hold window switch down for 5+ seconds after window is fully down. Pull switch and hold an additional 5+ seconds after window goes all the way back up. Rinse and repeat for other window.

I tried this again, and still no dice. Gap is still there.

Did you buy your Z used? If so, sounds like someone may have had the glass out and didn't align the window properly. I'd take off the door panel and adjust the glass.

I had to do that after I put a new door lock actuator on my passenger side door. The glass just doesn't fit like a glove so to speak when putting it back in and tightening the front and rear sash bolts. Once you adjust the glass by putting it where it looks good, fully roll up the window and close the door slowly but not all the way so you don't break the glass. If the glass looks too high where it will hit the exterior trim, readjust the glass. Use the driver side window for reference. Once everything lines up like the driver side. Road test the car for any wind noise. If there is none, then pat yourself on the back.

Yup, I bought it used a few months ago. I'll check this out, thanks for the tip.
