Update on my Z. My second time to dealership the Steering Wheel lock was replaced. Now I have a new IPDM and Steering wheel lock. According to my nice service manager he told me Nissan recommends replacing IPDM first. So round two I got the Steering Wheel lock.

Also this may be wrong because I was half asleep when my service manager was talking to me but he claimed both IPDM/Steering Wheel lock are connected to the same fuse and one of them was shorting/burning? it out and my case Steering Wheel lock.

I totally agree with you! I had to get my car towed, missed work, and now the stupid part is on back order. which i dont pay all this money for this car for it to be in the shop waiting for one little part, that seems to be an issue with many of these Z's.
