Intelligent Key System Warning Light...

Cevans that's crazy. I thought Nissan's corporate headquarters is in Torrance, CA? I would write to their public relations.

here you go.. quick DIY... it's stupid easy to do... no more than 15min. no interior parts to remove. hahaha.

DIY: Replace dreaded steering-lock on 2009s and early 2010s.

It comes up on the left hand side panel. (see page 2-10 "Instrument controls" of your owners manual) If this light comes on, that's the one you need to worry about, take it too your dealer, before you need to tow it.
Your's may just be a weak battery in the key fob, in that case replace with a CR2032.
ok, sorry but a little confused... the No Key light or the Intellegent key warning, which is the one you need to worry about? This thread is making me paranoid

try the banging steering column trick. unlock the steering column and bang it up and down pretty abruptly. the steering lock could unfreeze.

also try unplugging the unit. the tab is on the top side of the harness. take it off count a few sec and re-plug. do that a few times and try re-start.

if your battery charge is low see if you can trickle charge it 30min -1hr too. that could potentially help.

but once your car starts get the car checked over cause it will fail again apparently.

Unlucky for me, it turns out it was my steering lock unit malfunctioning and costs $800 bucks for them to order and it won't come in for a week. They have no loner cars available either. I love it.
my 09' 370z has been in shop for same reason, bad streering lock soledoid. bad news is nissan has no ETA date for the part and only thing we can do is just wait! suck! nissan saying weeks or could be months befor release the part. if you get any news! let me know.
