If the coolant has been drained, then what is on the drain petcock is probably normal residue. Clean it with warm water and a brush. If it doesn't come back, you are good to go.

Not sure about the rest. FSM should have coolant change procedure and info on the oil cooler. Or wait a few hours and somebody will probably have an answer.
Thanks that's what I was planning on doing. I wont have time to fix it until Sunday so Ill wait for more answers.
