Help: Oil changes!!!!

Does it make a big difference performance wise what oil you use when you get it changed at a dealership? I normally get the the full synthetic, but my friend

Does it make a big difference performance wise what oil you use when you get it changed at a dealership? I normally get the the full synthetic, but my friend gets the regular option.

Default

DIY all the way. Use an appropriate weight full synthetic of your choice. Keep the receipt for supplies for any potential warranty claims. Pocket the difference.

I know they use olive oil for bread, corn oil for pan fry...

synthetic oil.... ugh........ for some synthetic stuffs...??
