Help: Oil changes!!!!

Does it make a big difference performance wise what oil you use when you get it changed at a dealership? I normally get the the full synthetic, but my friend gets the regular option.

Thanks in advance!

DIY all the way. Use an appropriate weight full synthetic of your choice. Keep the receipt for supplies for any potential warranty claims. Pocket the difference.

Many threads on this already.

In a nutshell, for a DD, it doesn't make a lot of difference.

Word to the wise, don't over torque the drain plug or double gasket the filter.
