Too good to be true deals need to be done "in person."

some kid wanted to sell his $45,000.00 fully loaded 1-yr old Supra Turbo for $7,500.00. Yes, $7,500.00. He drove his car to work and the following day, I took it to 2 dealers for a total check (compression, leakdown, mtce needs, frame, turbo, etc). Cost me about $250.00 each.

We met that night at his dad's house. Turned out Dad is a gazillionaire.

Bottom line..... I bought the car on the spot!!!!!

It was an awesome deal!! I was not even on the market for a car but this kid kept calling me. Said he wanted a 2-wheel drive Toyota Truck instead. I just couldn't believe it; I thought this kid was messing around so I actually spent many hours at the dealers getting it checked independently. The PPI only came with <$100.00 of maintenance needs (like wiper blades, etc.).

I no longer have the car....... (after many years using it as a DD, I sold it for more than $7,500.00.)
