Used 370z - too good to be true?

I was looking at ebay for a 370z and I came across this car:

Nissan : 370Z: eBay Motors (item 170526182365 end time Aug-18-10 17:22:34 PDT)

Price seems very good and has very low miles. From the AutoCheck Vehicle History Report, it says it has 2 owners which seems strange. What is everyone's thought on this particular Z? Too good to be true, probably something wrong with it?

Thanks

It's not that strange. I'm the third owner of the PG Z i have for sale, the first owner sold to get a Porsche 911, the second owner sold because he just found out they were having a baby and needed more seats, i purchased with full intent to sell once i swapped parts from one 370 to my other 370 i only put 2k miles on it since i bought it last nov for 33k. But as for the one your looking at i couldn't really say if it's tip top or not. One way or the other good luck i hope you find what your looking for...

Well to be honest, it's really too far for me to get. I'm in Texas...I wouldn't feel comfortable buying it as its so far away. Also, the color scheme isn't my top choice, but I was blown away by the price. Best price I've seen, by far, for touring + sport + auto.

Something has to be wrong with it. Usually when it is to good to be true, it is.

He might just need it gone.

I'm all for buying stuff on the internet but as far as cars are concerned I wouldn't buy one off Ebay (without seeing it in real life first & test driving it) and the likes. I'd rather pay more to be assured I get the proper deal. That's just me though, do what you want with your $$$.

It's had "two owners", the car is still brand new! That tells me something is not right!

All good advice so far...thanks for the comments

I've been looking at new and used 370's for a couple months (plan on purchasing at the end of the year) and from what I've seen eBay has some of the lowest prices for used. I think when people want it gone in a hurry they're willing to cut 3 or 4K off the price. I don't see anything too fishy about it.

And with the multiple owners: owner 1 may have bought it on a whim, found it too "hard" for his liking or didnt budget for insurance or whatever and may have turned it in with under 100 miles on it. Number two picks it up as a lightly used car... honestly I think if he sells it for the buy it now price he's probably only losing about 3K.

I'd say go for it if you want to make the drive.

Too good to be true deals need to be done "in person."

some kid wanted to sell his $45,000.00 fully loaded 1-yr old Supra Turbo for $7,500.00. Yes, $7,500.00. He drove his car to work and the following day, I took it to 2 dealers for a total check (compression, leakdown, mtce needs, frame, turbo, etc). Cost me about $250.00 each.

We met that night at his dad's house. Turned out Dad is a gazillionaire.

Bottom line..... I bought the car on the spot!!!!!

Haha I've seen your car for sale actually (I think on cars.com???). This car will be my fiancee's car and she wants an auto for the daily commute.
