Shouldn't my rate be a bit lower?

Yeah, you are paying out the ***. I am 24 on my own policy and pay a tick over $100/mo. Max coverage.

I also have a speeding ticket from last year.

my ins company said one major factor in determining a cars policy price was the number of them on the road... fewer numbers mean fixing and replacing parts is more expensive. and with the low number of 370's on the road.......

I think you can save 20% with them if you pay the entire 6 months at one time. Put it on a credit card and pay it off over the same 6 month period and you still come out way ahead.

I pay about 75 per month, but I also have a C6, Z4 and Tahoe on the policy for my wife (41) and I (43). The Z is the most expensive to insure of them, the Vette is only 60 per month.

What matters a LOT that nobody is mentioning is the area that you will be insured under. If you're in Idaho, it will be cheaper than Los Angeles. FYI, i was quoted 120/month when i quoted with my mom's address which is in San Jose, CA. However, I was quoted 289/month at my current residence, downtown LA.

I was surprised it took so long for someone to mention the whole area factor.

On that note, if I didnt live on base here near Baltimore/DC, I'd be getting raped. Right now I'm paying a shade over $750 every 6 months for full coverage on my 08 Silverado and the 370.

Oh, Im 25, btw.

This is madness!

I don't know why your rates are so high. I am in DC pretty much and my rates are the same as they were on my Civic.

Ur insurance rates has a lot 2 do with ur age and where u live. I am paying the same amount as my 93 Mercedes CL500. I was a little surprised my rate was so low, but I am 35.
