Correct foot/lbs for lugnuts?

I work in a tire shop and according to our system and the annually sent out torque charts from Michelin, say for our vehicle 70-87 but we always go with the max which is 87.

I use 85-90 at the track set with this:

i use 83-85 and re-torque a few times.

on my snap-on traditional torque wrench (twisty handle dial with value etched into the shaft) i need to turn down the dial to the minimum value after use. is that the same way on the digital ones? ive not tried a digital one...

No you do not need to turn down the dial on the Brown Line one on Amazon. It says it on that page listed.

thanks... this is wat is shows on the amazon page... i dont see that part where it says i dont need to dial it back down?

Just a stupid question. If I want to check the torque of the wheel lugnuts, can I do it with 4 wheels on the ground? Or the car needs to be up?

This thread was answered in the first 2 posts but yet now has 28 responses you guys need to find better sh!t to talk about instead of the torque of lug nuts.

There is a thread in the general section on toe nail clipping and the proper angle on the clippers,proper force to apply,plus what to do if you draw blood.
