I'd say driver mod is the key on the seconds/$ scale. Suspension modifications won't do anything for you unless you are able to maximize the use of the stock suspension,

I'd say driver mod is the key on the seconds/$ scale.
Suspension modifications won't do anything for you unless you are able to maximize the use of the stock suspension, which is already very capable. That's why it's important to get out there and get a feel for the car as it is, then you can make better decisions about which way you want to go with the car. Also, reference my point about amateurs in heavily modded cars being significantly slower than experienced drivers in stock, un-modded cars. Take it slow. Don't be so quick to start changing suspension components... it doesn't always make it better.
