It would be interesting to see what a compression test yields.

Love it! Nice work
![]() I'm impressed the front hubs are the only real suspension work you've had to do ![]()

Exactly. I would have at least expected the shocks to have been replaced once or twice in that mileage.

I just crossed 87k and had my supercharger put on my car at 19k miles, so coming up on 70k miles of boost on the engine.

Thank you for sharing. It's good to hear that the car is so reliable considering the mileage.
Just wondering if the oil consumption increased at higher mileage or it is about the same through out the 200k miles? How about the transmission? Did the shifting get worse? Quote:

that is true. I suppose I was interested in oil consumption in the relative term, say at 40k and 200k miles.
while it is normal for our Z motors to use a bit of oil even at low mileage, i have heard some honda engines do not burn any oil even at 100k miles. |

![]() BTW, "some" Chevy engines do not burn any oil even at 100k miles. And "some" Ford engines engines do not burn any oil even at 100k miles. And "some" Toyota engines... 'Ya know? ![]()
