if its the latter I will most certainly buy a new one. if it stays the same then i'm moving on.

plan since I bought the Z was GT-R. some life things have come up (i.e. fiance', house, and wedding) that may be placed on a slight hold.

currently if all falls into place then I would love the next gen Z if and of course when it actually happens.

if no Z then that Q60 would be a nice addition. however if the production model doesn't look good and the engine doesn't hook me then i'll move on.

from there it's a tough decision. many ways to go just not sure. aside from the price the M4 has grown on me. but the way I would want it is 84K. for that I can get a Z06 or GT-R at the auction with a few dealer miles or whatnot on them.

at the moment i'd like to stay with Nissan. so Z35, Q60, or GT-R is the next move depending on what happens with the next gens, timing, and my bank account lol

the upkeep on a gtr is just crazy... usually runs like 12k a year

a. I was busting balls to my MT friends who bust mine for having a AT.

b. you have 3 more mods and barely more power then mine....plus less drivetrain power loss than me too. I wouldn't be bragging

better question what's your best 1/4 ET?

yea that just comes with having a higher end car well supercar really lol

but that figure I feel is skewed since most people who can easily afford GT-R's send them to Nissan for service. that is something I wont do since it's ridiculously over priced. they wanted to charge me 700 for my 30k mile service on my Z. I did it all and cost me no where near that.

What... you don't want to pay $8K for a brake job?

yea i guess that' true. i haven't met an average joe that has owned a gtr yet. usually it's people with a lot of money.

a friend of mine works as a finance manager at nissan and they sold a 2015 gtr for 85k. he said some guy that owns something in harrahs casino came and wrote a check for the full price and drove off lol

not a chance lol

you can get replacement rotors for 2700. pads for 1000-1200.

3-4k for that if you even need rotors.

hell for nissans price of 8-10k typically for brake changes you can just pay 13k and switch over to a carbon ceramic package.

Can't be anything close to what service for Harleys is. I never came out of a service under $500 until I clued in. Did all my own after that. I've always preferred to do everything myself anyway. If I screw something up I can live with it. When I pay stupid $$$ only to have them screw something up I'm not very pleased about it. If I want stuff messed up I'll do it myself, thanks. I'm paying you to not screw up.
I never let them wash my bikes either. The last straw was when I got a bike back covered in greasy hand prints. I was told that's what you get when you don't let them wash it. Really? A fu^^ing ape wouldn't make that big a mess.
Spent over an hour out in the parking lot getting the bike back to where I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen on it.
One thing I will say....despite the misconceptions floating around out there, all the Harleys I've had have been absolutely bulletproof. Tremendous build quality and NOTHING turns heads like 'em. My 370 is absolutely invisible by comparison. My last Harley would turn more heads on one ride home from work that ANY and ALL non-Harleys I owned over time, combined. I mean, serious thumbs up ever where you go.

Oil changes are pretty regular. The usual Mobil 1 0w-40a and filter. Nothing crazy. The brakes will last you a good while depending on if you track. It's only when your out of warranty, mod the car (bolt ons are acceptable; no turbo upgrades, etc.), and drive it hard all the time is where it costs a lot. I've had my fair share of experiences with the GTR. It's a great car, but the Z is a different driving feel all together. Definitely two different cars.

Stuck in kind of the same dilema. I am deciding between an M3 or a newer more powerful Z. Sigh!
