Also - research the GT-R used market a bit - you'll find that, on average, super silver doesn't command the premium charged, but Pearl White commands a higher than average selling price because it is the most demanded color. The safest bet you can have with buying a car is buying it in a color that is "safe" meaning that people are more likely to buy it over a "fad" color. Safe colors are typically neutral colors, like white, gray, black, or silver. Magma Red is definitely a sweet color that is in low supply, but you may find that demand for it goes in cycles, as do most "fad" colors like the burnt oranges of the early 2000s (as seen on the Sentra SE-R, 350Z, and a few other brands) and they come back around occasionally on newer production vehicles. Another fad color that will likely die (at least across any other manufacturer that doesn't touch anything MOPAR) is lime green metallic. Bottom line is - rather than looking at colors that would command a "premium", look for colors that well help hold up your resale value. Or, just look for whatever color you like and F the rest of it.

safe colours: white, silver and black will always be popular.
Red and yellow will always catch the eye of a sports car guy, with black cherry, and 40th being slightly outside the original box colours. I personally love all the colour options for the 370z, from black on black to the odd colour 40th with red interior

Personally speaking, I love the 370z PW/Orange (harder to find also) and am willing to pay more comparing to other color combo. Again, I am not knocking other color combo, but simply a personal preference. |

My gal does nothing but complain about yellow Z's and how much she hates them, regardless of rarity. I disagree with her but this may be a negative factor with others as well.
Long live yellow.
