Red face Can't Find Right Color/Leather Combo? Customize!

I had a very specific requirement for my brand new 370z. It had to be a manual, have black leather, be red, and have the sports and navigation packages.

For the two weeks before I purchased the car multiple dealers told me there were ZERO cars that matched these specs in the United States.

I told them to change out the gray leather of the car with black and I would buy it since then it would fit my requirements.

It cost me a bit over $600 to have the seats and the side panels changed out by a custom leather company and, at least in my opinion, the interior looks better for it.

Attached are some pictures and I will attach some of the seats tomorrow.

Enjoy!

Not bad. I like the leather door panels. I would have had them use perforated leather in the center of the seats. I actually like the full leather better than the faux suede.

It was done by a place called Katzkin located in Irving, Texas.

I am not sure about the white stitching.

Personally, I don't think that would work.

PS chops, anybody?

What did it cost for only the side door panels?

I have some pics in my Album on my page of Katzkin leathers in my old RX8. They do an amazing job.

Sorry to reopen an old post but I've been thinking of doing something similar and was wondering if the custom leather interferes with any of your side airbags? Did the person doing the install mention? thanks.
