Nissan knows the performance driven buyers who want shift will just buy a manual transmission, none of that fake shifting with the paddles.

Flame suit on at full power.

See you at the drag strip and you will be by an auto. Just 3 little clicks and it's over. Lol

True auto is easier to go fast no doubt, but I would never drag my 370z. Road course, I'm in. I would get owned by an auto on a road course as we'll but for me there is something special about that direct connection to the power feeling you get with only a manual transmission. I do own 1 auto vehicle, and I feel like falling asleep at the wheel.

Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Fanboy dribble that has been repeated here
xxx,xxx times.
There's pros and cons to each transmission. To each his own and at 160mph you aren't worried about the stick on the floor. You're worried about keeping your hands on the wheel and not smacking into the guard rails.

So they are going to that system as well huh? Not that big a fan of it myself, and borderline pointless, since the average asshat doesn't use turn signals for anything, much less lane changing.

My new Dodge has that feature. I wouldn't describe it as "borderline pointless", I'd call it totally useless. I'm just starting to change lanes at the third blink.

I agree, my Mazda 3 has it and it needs to be 5 blinks.

Wow, when I started this thread, I had no idea I'd be resurrecting the 7AT vs. Manual thread! I'll be more careful next time.
