What u guys think about that?

I don't think we will see that car in the states. But we may see its engine in the new s2000.

Why not add Twin Turbos on the 3.7 VQ engine? The vast majority of 370Z owners have been doing this since its introduction. Besides, if Nissan decides to put a German 2.0T, what will it be called? 200ZXT? Really, the Z started out with a 2.4 straight six and it was named 240Z. By putting in a 2.0T, that would be taking a lot of steps back. How will the Z owners and buyers think? I wouldn't get one personally. Even a 3.0 TT is not a good idea. Been there, done that with thr 300ZX twin turbo. I would like to see a 3.7 TT from the factory. Going with a 3.8 TT or bigger will go right into GTR category and it might kill the Godzilla's sales if a 3.7 TT or bigger becomes an option for the Z. My 2 cents.

Yes,they still have cast iron parts in that suspension and they can easily reduce weight by swapping to aluminum There are no carbon fiber parts added on a Genesis Coupe. so that is another option.
Hyundai also needs to learn how to tune ECU's for true sport performance & needs to source beefier transmissions for hard work at the limits.. Genesis coupes are fast but they don't feel like a sports car fast, they feel Altima 3.5SR fast. which is sporty but not sports car sporty. the Genesis Coupe is a good platform but needs a lot of refinement in terms of true sports car nature.
The Z may be "rough and tumble" but it drives like a proper sports car from every aspect. We'll see what the next gencoupe brings.
They should really put the 5.0L in the Coupe.

Just today i pass an altima 3.5ser, just going around a slower car and all of a sudden he guns it with his 3 or 4 passengers and paases me looking over at me. Its those altima race car commercials, every altima even the 2.5 are now faster than the z even loaded down.

The world is dumb!

I would buy it used. I'm never paying more than $16k for a Civic.

A 3.7 TT and a 3.8 TT would almost be the same thing. I would almost bet everything I have ever loved that Nissan won't be doing that. A 3.0 turbo would be perfect in my opinion. The 300zx was an awesome car. But the vg30dett was also engineered in the late 80's. Take todays technology and engineering in a new turbo 3.0. Look at these 2-2.5 liter four bangers making 300hp. Put some real engineering in a 3.0 turbo and you could have a SOLID platform to build on for car enthusiast, and a good motor to please the average consumer. Make it a single turbo for simplicity and costs.

Just my .02cents, but I'd just build a nissan version of a lsx V8, making 400 has roughly in stock form and call it a day....well that's what I'd want'

For the money to do a lsx swap, you mind as well turbo the current engine and get more. Or supercharger and still get more power. It would be cheaper.

4 post and you wanna flex your muscle as an internet thug. My bad, what I meant was the 3.7 vq engine is capable of handling TT.

With all due respect ! At least I support this forum and own a 370z.

I agree with everything you said, the 370 is head and shoulders a better sports car than the 3.8. I dont even consider the 3.8 Coupe a Sports car, its a GT, and a fantastic, uber comfortable one at that for an unbelievable price. Something the Z did NOT give me for quite a bit more $.
