Bro its the part where do you out your oil filter from factory... hahahaha!! your Z is 2012... so it have an OEM oil cooler... not the best but works!

The question is if you remove your factory oil cooler or you just install the sandwich plate of the new oil cooler to the Oem.

DatsunFTW 04-14-2015 11:06 AM

Clearance is pretty much none. It is nice and sealed up.

jpkirk 04-14-2015 11:42 AM

Just missed giving the Z a door ding while getting into my wife's car.

Model years 2012 and up have a factory oil cooler -- it is a oil to coolant-type. They have a sandwich plate that coolant runs through.

Took a sound clip of my Nismo exhaust with Top Speed Test Pipes. A bit raspy as to be expected, but overall the sound is ok.

Thanks! I wanted to do a before and after dyno, but didn't want to pay the shop the install fee's. I really want to see what this manifold really does for us.

i find the use of 'sayonara' like that offensive actually.. lol

but then, mr.k would've understood wat you canadians wanted to say and probably just cracked up with a big hello. :rofl2:

blackcherry20 04-15-2015 07:17 PM

Washed Harry. In the cloudy sprinkly weather.

Kinda fitting actually since we have been in the rain TWICE in the last three weeks. Smh

:)

Yeah, that was the first thing I thought of when I pulled the magazine out of the envelope, I was like :ugh2: I wasn't going to post the pic just because of that, but I assumed people would get what the editors actually meant.

enkei2k 04-16-2015 12:01 AM

got an alignment done finally...after 3 years of driving.\

I don't like how they did it though as it's not quite even. left rear is at -1.5 and right rear is at -1.9. I would have prefer them both to be at the same reading, but since they are both within range, it's ok I guess :ugh2:

The struggle is real. This time of year, the Z is either black or green. :ugh2:

b15 04-17-2015 09:15 PM

Mine has yellow spots all over. It's a cheetah I guess. Sometimes I do wish I had a lighter colorbut after a wash and wax, I'm in love with black again. Endless cycle because 4 hours later it's dirty lol

Drove 1431 out to Marble Falls earlier this week. The drive back was almost empty and included a detour on Lime Creek :driving:

I think I hit 65K miles (or just about to).

Fluid changes on a couple of local Z's scheduled for this morning
