Oh well! Waiting until tomorrow to get the estimates and now hopefully get the car for the weekend! :happydance:

He's an honest mechanic. He primarily does body/paint work and is doing some extra 'goodwill' for my car as well. I can't complain at the way he's handled my case and also the thoroughness of his explanation. He is defintely a rare breed!

the OEM windshield blows. i cant wait to get rid of mine. its so pitted

mishuko 10-07-2014 02:24 PM

I just cried a little... shop called today. The person who he uses for windows is booked until thursday... so I may not get the car back until early next week. =( *sits in the corner and draws circles*

So this happened yesterday afternoon.

Attachment 95355
Attachment 95356

The guy next to me was pulling out and cut it way to short and just kept going. Then finally slammed on the brakes and backed up messing mine up even more and backing into another car....

I was inside my building at the time but a friend was in the car and saw the whole thing.

Got pulled over and a warning about my exhaust, cop was a total ****!! Diesel trucks everywhere in this damn town and I get pulled over for a Magnaflow CBE.

tnav 10-07-2014 10:53 PM

left the house at around 630AM as I do every morning, the weather felt extra nice today, around 65 degrees in Southern California ... nothing special today, but for some reason it felt great

jpkirk 10-08-2014 07:58 AM

:iagree: It's because winter is coming.

Drove to work this morning. Looking forward to an early morning drive. Somebody is having a bad day though since my path (5 lanes one direction) was shut down due to an accident.

So my 50 minute drive was a two hour drive since it only takes a half hour for traffic to get that way around here. Stop and slow. However, my day is a breeze compared to whoever was in the accident.

Prayers for them.

Picked up my swift springs and wheel spacers from kamispeed today!

On the way back I had some dude in a Gensis coupe leave a huge hole in traffic just to sit behind me as we inched forward at a traffic light. Then we get going and he floors it, zooms past me, and almost hits the stopped car 4/5 cars up from me.

Dafuq?

Went for a nice drive today to the local beer supply store 45 mins away....through windy back roads...boom! Now time to fill up the tank again.

Installed my RJM clutch pedal, which gets rid of the guess work with the stock clutch pedal assembly and feels so much more natural.

Also spun on my TWM big type R shift knob. One heavy mother, shifts great on the TWM short shifter.

SurfDog 10-09-2014 08:31 AM

Based on poor forum reviews, I switched from a white line sway setup to Stillen. I guess the white line rig can knock out some bushings.

TWM shift knob and short shifter. RJM clutch pedal assembly. Might want to correct your signature :tiphat:

I have the same setup, except I have a TWM Desert Eagle knob. Love it :driving:

Propped up my broken garage door so I could back the Z out of the garage this morning. Leaving town tomorrow, so I have no time to fix it

I was held up by a 328i for 3 miles. When I got the wave around, the road was clear all the way home. Fun was had.
