problem with these nitrogen fills is yes it is less subjective to ambient temp vs air fluctuations, but more of a sales gimmick unless you have the dual valve wheels where you can suction out air while you inject nitrogen.

kenchan 09-12-2014 10:15 AM

dual valve wheels look like crap.. reminds me of 18wheelers with 4 extra wheels in the back. lol

Tint repair on drivers side window today. Then a wash and wax for my Harry.

:happydance:

Gawd I love this car

mishuko 09-12-2014 06:01 PM

So on my way home from work I stopped at my gf's house to let her drop off her baggage with my windows down. Started to drive through the neighborhood when I saw a spider and my face went  then I made sounds that were very high pitched. My gf was a little concerned until she realized I was being a little pansy with a spider crawling on the inside of my windshield...

When out for drinks and "tapas" tonight with my Z :happydance: she looked so sexy. Was even able to find a good parking spot in a corner in a full parking lot, with a considerate neighbor who left plenty of space between his car and my Z. In case you were wondering, i had camel hamburger sliders with my drinks.... Mmm mmm mmm good!

Indeed it was a good night for the Z and I

I demand :pics:

Kidding my friend, good to know you got your car back! I still want some pics though :icon17:

JARblue 09-13-2014 04:05 PM

My first drive in the Z in over a week is probably blasphemous to some. It was in the rain to get groceries :icon17:

But I did take the time to drive her around a bit before the store to warm her up fully. And I figured since it was raining, I might as well take the opportunity to play slip and slide a bit in my nearby practice parking lot http://www.killbillet.com/images/smi...rivingskid.gif

I've always had it put in where/when I buy my tires (same shop every time)..never had any issues, but freely admit I never did a test to verify it was nitrogen...other than no (or minimal) gains or loss in psi over long periods of time.

SterlingDrive 09-13-2014 07:52 PM

I am a big nitrogen fan based on the big tempture swings here. I remove the valve stem core at COSTCO and after the air is out replace the stem and air with N02. Works great, better tire performance and quiets the tires on the freeway. I run No2 now in all of my cars and motorcyles...

Wash and detail...to get off the road grime from last 3 days of rain, even knowing there is 20% chance tomorrow and 30% on Tuesday. Sometimes I get lucky and it rains while I'm parked at home or work and roads dry before I have to use them!

Masterbeatty 09-14-2014 04:23 PM

Attended the second car show in 3 days. Finished refinishing my engine cover, and went for a nice drive around CT yesterday with my wife. Great weekend with our Z

mishuko 09-14-2014 07:42 PM

Did a full clean job today. Washed the engine bay, nooks and crannies, waxed and tire shine. Decided to go for a nice drive through DT Toronto just because! Now she's a bit thirsty!

axmea? 09-15-2014 12:27 AM

My wash buckets cracked in the bottom so off I went to my local deli and picked up four 5 gallon pickle buckets for a buck each. Try it, it's better than buying them from your local hardware store.

Does it make you car smell like pickles too?

My local Lowes has buckets for $2 I think; however, I haven't bucket washed my car lately. Power washer + foam cannon + grout sponges (which are disposable)

kenchan 09-15-2014 09:18 AM

i use the griots wash buckets with casters cause they are rectangular in shape and dont take up as much room in the garage horizontally as regular round buckets. ofcourse they come with a premium price though...

MadMan 09-15-2014 09:21 AM

Dropped the Z off at the body shop.
Now driving a Sentra

exsanity 09-15-2014 09:30 AM

I got to meet some of the guys from the Middle Tennessee Z Club and we went for a cruise through Kentucky this weekend.
(Hopefully pictures will follow shortly)

Drove from DC to Keyser WV and back for a baby dedication. I like 50 between New Creek WV and Winchester VA. Nice road.

I've found that the name Griot's implies quality. They sell good stuff.

LOL. I love the idea of recycling these things.

 Griots makes great stuff but too much money for a bucket, 5 bucks and I have 5 5-gallon drums.

Time to get some whiteline diff bushings or spl's. Found that it's a common issue among other common issues with the Z. Had mine replaced about a month ago.

Looks like a bushing. Diff won't do that unless your filler plug fell out, which is unlikely

well, theres a breather hose to the diff. once you overheat oil starts to throw up out of that breather hose
