Yeah, turning 300,000 km while going close to 240 kph is pretty crazy!

Edit: not to mention taking a picture at that speed...lol.

And they were out there. But you can treat them like a dynamic slalom course. If you just do the speed limit (or 5 over) around them they won't panic too much.

So, in 'murican, that's 186,411 miles. That is a load of road. And still doing 240 kph. So how is it running for you? Have you noticed any loss in power, handling, etc? Any special maintenance tips? And yea, this is one time I might say

LESS :pics: please. :icon17:

Performance is the same, handling, same. Maintenance. ..regular oil changes, I use redline every 7500kms. I also changed all the other oils to redline and change them every 100k. The rest is just regular stuff as required.

90ST- :hello: how is your csc holding up?

aszyd 08-14-2014 07:13 PM

Checked the car for various clunks... Found that the drivers side endlink was loose at the sway bar. Hopefully that will cure some of the noise. Also saw that the Motordyne XYZ is holding up quite well. So much for their "shoddy" workmanship. My wife is going out tonight, so I may try to start fitting the spats.

Today I spent 6 lovely hours giving my lady a sweet hand massage with some very nice carnauba wax. after making her feel so pretty and loved I got her engine revving and took her for a nice long drive. I had a great time and so did she.

3rd one has been good, but the oe clutch and flywheel help by keeping the pressure down compared to the ACT clutch.

Finally got all my parts on besides the new lugs. Exhaust came in yesterday and was put on today, everything else was put on last week.

Meisterschaft axleback, Swift springs, SPL rear camber arms, Toe bolts, Forgestar F14's. Just need to put on my Muteki lug nuts that came in today. Will probably get project kics next year when I upgrade the wheels.

A random person decided my car was too pretty so she thought it would be a good idea to run into my car... (damage to rear quarter, rear bumper & my precious volk...)

also just 2 days ago a sheriff cited me for going 80mph when I was only going 75mph... this week could not go fast enough

Flybyenature 08-15-2014 05:31 PM

Installed my GTR start button and dome lights today! Red LEDs for inside, white LEDs for license plate, and fairlady badge coming in!

Oh and can't forget about the AP Exhaust!!

JARblue 08-15-2014 06:00 PM

This is actually the second time where another driver hit me from the side... guess I need to buy a brighter color next time I buy a car so people can see me when I'm driving

I needed to wash off the 41 miles I put on her last month...

Stupid work schedule anyway... My DD is an Airbus 320...

41 miles... That's less than what I drive TO work every day.

I picked up some bolts, washers, and nuts to help me mount the spats. The fitment was not perfect, and VHB did nothing to help, so I figure bolting them to my bumper will work. Sadly, I could not find black button head bolts, so I went with black socket heads. Hopefully it won't look too bad.

Do you rent Corvettes? I wanted to rent a Corvette when my car was in the shop. It was way too expensive, even with insurance covering the majority.
