I still need to give the exhaust a once over for a proper cleaning. Car needs to have a coat of 4star also to bring out the  shine. :driving:

I have those sitting in the front seat of my Z. I just ordered the FI HFC, hope it tones it down a bit.

mishuko 04-02-2017 07:00 PM

changed the cabin filter and blades... cruised to a coin was then had some spirited fun.

love the temps... little cool for full grip but it's good enough! but yea these indy 500's... ugh... they aren't so hot.

TreeSemdyZee 04-02-2017 07:38 PM

Installed Z1 plenum, cleaned throttle bodies, cleaned MAFs and replaced a busted MAF plug.
Then went out for an extended test drive.
Now to schedule with Dynosty for headers, HFCs and retune. :happydance:

Are those stock bulbs on the license plate light? Maybe it's just lit up more because it's white but holy heck does that seem bright? It's only other cars that see my rear end ;) so no idea if mine is lit up like that... I'll have to ask someone lol

Nice job in the fog

kenchan 04-03-2017 05:43 AM

To my knowledge they are stock. I don't know if the previous owner changed the license plate lights.

And I did not touch the 3rd brake light so now I'm curious. :icon14:

I'm running the old gas and some treatment through.

I need to set up an appointment for the change + rear differential. Debating to make an extra long appointment to also get brake/clutch fluids changed too...

Spooler 04-03-2017 06:54 PM

After a year and a half of sitting in the box my coilovers are finally installed on my replacement car.

Drove it for the first time in nearly two weeks

Did an oil change for the first time in 15K miles today, too. No, I didn't wait 15K miles to do the oil change - I just haven't done it myself the last two times. It was nice to get intimate with her again

I did not disconnect the 3rd light. It just wasn't on because the brakes weren't applied. When you press the brake it goes on.

When is your car hitting the trailer east? It can't be too much longer.

I bought out the Purolator Pure One stock at my local auto parts store. I love the new look of the Pure One oil filters. The blue color is so much better looking than the ugly yellow they used to be

Literally just ordered a few on Amazon last night. I thought it was a different type for a moment before comparing numbers with past orders. Sweet! Now everyone will not see me rocking a fancy blue oil filter!

I'm not going to make it this year as I have to many family obligations that came up last month. All good stuff but just to much in a short period of time. My son let us know he is getting married the last week of so of April and then my daughter got a job in Portland, OR and asked me to help move her there. She has to be there the first week of June...oh and I got the "Daddy I need a car too!" And that is just part of the story. Anyway, if all goes well I will be back in 2018!

Go ahead... take advantage that in PR the emissions laws and exhaust noise levels are not inforced
