Well, I changed the thread coloring of my stitches (White to Red)
I think it looks amazing, the pictures do not them justice
( Click to show/hide )
It took me a couple of hours as I wanted to do it well. I used the elmer's ultra fine acrylic pen. Now available on amazon. Disclosure for those of you whom may want to do this: It is a bit difficult to use as the tip tends to clog up, so have a fine needle ready in case this happens to you. Do one stich at the time and do not rush, otherwise you might paint the outer edges by mistake. (Slow and steady wins the race) That is all guys and if you decide to do this arts and crafts project, best of luck. |
^when doing the painting did you notice that the stitches look more silver/grey rather than white? When I looked at mine up close that's what I saw. Just curious.

Changed the oil on my Z and measured my brake pads front and rear. I still have 7mm in the front and 6mm in the rear on the original pads and I have 27k on the clock. I also did a under hood and under vehicle inspection.

A beautiful, 3 day, 850 mile trip through western Montana and the Idaho panhandle. Two lane mountain roads with the top down and a great concert in Sandpoint. A great week-end. Now comes Monday.

Washed the car Saturday. First time since before I had neck surgery. I am doing a little better. Man has it been tough. I have been working from home since 4 weeks after surgery. Sure will be glad to drive back and forth to work again. I may be able to do that very soon. I will be glad to get back to normal, if there is such a thing.

Sorry to ask again, but what wheel spacers are you using front and rear? And it looks like you lowered it too. Swift springs or coil overs? If coils, how low did you go? |
I haven't done anything to my Z today, but I did order something for it... The RJM AFP clutch pedal and heavy duty clevis end. Can't wait to get this installed!

Coilovers. No idea how much lower, I've changed it several times. Best guess about 1.5" down and maybe 1.75" stars the front. At one point o was about an inch further down, but it was just too low to be practical. I rub all the time as it is. |

And I cut the heck out of my right hand installing it. Bled like a mofo! :icon17: Pro-tip: book a chiropractor visit for when you're done! :rofl2: |

And those last two, cutting hands and chiropractors, I didn't want to hear that. LOL |

Default felt pretty much the same as rock clutch to me. I'm going to try adjusting it back that way and see how it feels after a few miles with the setup. |

or you could do it my way and find out afterwards you should have done it first.... luckily I'm local to Ryan and gave him a shout and he recommended a screwdriver to help break loos the nuts. Oh and if I had to install the RJM again... I'd rather pay someone else to do it. I'm pretty damn petite but I did not enjoy the contorting around even with two towels down and foam pad for the knees. :wtf2: Anyways enjoy!!! my setting is 50% and I love it. Much smoother manual rev matching and smoother n-1 1-2 shifts with a lot less effort. :happydance: |
