IKR :(

Thankfully, I have a lot of fluid maintenance planned in the next few weeks. So I'll have the car up on jack stands again soon and will go after all the nooks and crannies with cleaning products and shop cloths. I was glad there was no noticeable odor inside the car when I got in this morning.

I had a fine experience with Gamma for my TT kit.. Give them a call, pay with a credit card for piece of mind. We need more boosted Z's around here!

It was 33 out yesterday...:gtfo2:

I took mine to work. Full detail this weekend. Wish I could get my swift springs and exhaust installed. It's absolutely killing me. Tow strap and new shift knob do look nice though.

OldGuyFla 04-13-2016 09:49 AM

Took mine out for a drive yesterday & damn it the love bugs are out already. I feel like doing as you guys up north & just putting it in the garage for those 2+ months. With the top down some hit the top of the seats & wind deflector at low speeds.

Got my S04's from TireRack last week (used the link on the main page) and am having them mounted and balanced tomorrow.

Then it's off to get an inspection sticker and I'm good until next year. :driving:

JARblue 04-13-2016 10:23 AM

Ordered my ZSpeed black undershroud, Redline MT and diff fluids, and a caliper rebuild kit for all four corners

Yeah... I was bitching up a storm the entire time as I was freezing my a$$ off :shakes head: finished most of it in the garage around 11pm so it wasn't bad at all. I applaud you patience... not sure I'd be able to wait if I had those goodies in-hand!

Honestly, I think youŽd be fine. The products they put out are top notch. When I bought the kit I had no certainty that IŽd be able to get the "canned" tune from them, and I still chose it based on quality of the actual product itself. Then again I didn't pay anywhere close to MSRP on the kit either, so I was willing to compromise on other aspects.

I awoke to frost on my Z and found out that I it will be 80 on Sunday. I'm so confused that I don't know what to do with my Z.

Over 2 hours to put just the rear wheel spacers on. The retards at the dealership had to have tightened the ever living hell out of every single lug. Had to use a breaker bar to get them off. Completely shredded 2 lugs. have to order a few replacements eventually. What a nightmare. Not looking forward to doing the front. Put anti-seize stuff on every thread possible.

At least the car doesn't shake or anything when driving with the spacers on. May downsize to 20mm all around. Not sure if I care for the amount of bottom wheel poke.

Nah. Not even close. They were WAY past the 80lbs rating. I was standing on my breaker bar at one point. Will head to advanced auto parts or napa this weekend. Source out some new lugs and get a few spares. Wheels need to come off again anyways when the swifts go on. Have to re-torque the spacer lugs.

Some of these knuckle heads only use the impact to put the lugs on all the way. Makes me cringe.

barncobob 04-15-2016 02:58 AM

anytire work I take wheels off at home and reinstall at home using ratchet torque wrench the way it should be.

I'm still cringing over having to do the front. The fact that a standard fitting 21mm socket was still stripping lugs is concerning.

Leingod 04-15-2016 07:16 AM

Ignore the blurriness of the photos and the POS Civic Si I own in the background. My arms were dead.

Looks good to me, Lein. I bet you'll be happy with the way it looks after you install the Swifts. Good job, but sucks you're having problems with the lugs.

Yea. i'm sure a small drop will help out a lot. Some new wheels in next years budget are being planned. Thinking WEDs SAMM's or S-XX's.

I love the SA55M. They look great on the Z. You can find killer deals on wheels the week after Thanksgiving. That's when I got mine and I saved a ton of money.

Hate when that happens, the only downside to having a smart key is it's always trying to connect with the car :(

Just like Kansas... no annual inspection (smog or otherwise), just :driving:

The KHP does get it's pound of flesh, if you bring in an out of state car. Then they want to 'inspect' the title and compare it to the vehicle... :icon14:

OK, now all of you have motivated me to get off of my @$$. Going to the garage to remove the car cover, disconnect the battery tender, pull the steel wool out of the exhaust and crank her up.

I'm going to jack up the front of the car today and remove the wheels for the front spacers. I only plan to strip or snap 2-3 lugs this time. Don't get to motivated :roflpuke2:

I ordered a bunch of stuff from Z1 including a ZSpeed undershroud on Wednesday, and it showed up at the house while I was home for lunch today. And that was using the cheapest shipping option!

My weekend just got full :D

Ghostvette 04-15-2016 03:39 PM

My JDMTOY LEDs came in, so I'll be replacing the license plate lights and back up lights. Now I gotta do a search on how to remove the tails...:ugh2:
