Bought a new truck back in Sept to replace the Z with. Just wanted to get over 250,000 miles first, and i'm almost there, 248,xxx. I have someone coming to look at the car next weekend.

Wow. Congrats on that mileage! Thats awesome, I drive my Z alot and seeing those miles makes me happy to know these cars can last that long!

They have their problems, but for me the engine was never one of them. :)

As for today, I cleaned my seats and all of the interior plastic trimmings

My clazzio seats arrive this week. I will post pics when I install them

washed all the pollen off her, then got more pollen on her!

Fun fun either way..

DeliriousClam 03-06-2016 10:47 PM

Been busy modifying/painting the nismo bumper, putting Sways on, new pads and rotors and refinishing the wheels. In the right light they didn't look right.

Indeed. I think i really like the quietness/subtle that OEM Nismo CB provides. I like it better than the regular oem stock, the non-true dual setup

Cause if he doesn't buy it, it'll have to get done...
I don't pay for oil...
I'm still doing a 2000 km trip with it this week...

I did decide not to change the tranny and diff fluid... cause I would change it when I bought it.
I am hoping if this guy does take it he'll continue to maintain the same as I did. I'd like to see how far it can go.

kenchan 03-07-2016 10:57 AM

still sad you're leaving the Z :( if it were you it'd probably break 500km easy lol.

let's see how long the next guy can keep it alive for :ugh2:

sp911 03-07-2016 11:24 AM

we should start a thread if you would change oil before selling or not. I vote no. I didn't with my last car and most likely most people wouldn't do it for me. like someone said, he'd probably change it any ways. I would, even if the guy said he just change it, i'd change it sooner than usual. plus you have to be careful. my friend had a truck in pristine condition as he usually does and the day before selling it a teenager smashed into him on his way to work.

Wheels3309 03-07-2016 12:40 PM

Reinstated insurance & picked up my plates today on lunch! If it's still dry after dinner, I'll probably get her out for a spin tonight! :driving:

It's not sold yet...but it wont be long. I would like it to go to a Z person on here, they'd be more likely to keep it going...

i like to check the oil when buying a car, if the oil is very dirty/black could be a sign of how it was cared for

kenchan 03-07-2016 03:52 PM

removed cover, placed Z off flatstoppers, adjusted psi, installed my new V1 :p, installed nuvi with latest maps, and my ancient hero2.. :ugh:

get your slips yet? in Canada we're a bit easier... just need to call my broker advise them I want it on and it'll be back on. slips are good for the year minus the reduced coverage during winter.

spent 10 hours multi-tasking on multiple projects on the 370. Got my bumper primed and ready for paint and clear tomorrow, and got my wheels to the point that they can be refinished tomorrow. Oh And I got these on along with my side blades.

Took a 120-mile round-trip backroads drive to get a sandwich for lunch. Had to pass a couple of cars in a hurry, due to limited line-of-sight.

Wife complained that there weren't more cars on the road that needed passing :driving:

barncobob 03-09-2016 07:04 AM

this weekend removed FI CB, installed OEM Nismo CB, sold FI CB to fellow member w/o even offering it for sale.

Absolutely! Given a birthday excuse to eat a bunch of carbs, I picked one of my top two sandwiches in the world. And a nice excuse to air out the Z a bit!
