Last week I saw a young guy in a 350Z do an "accelerated" U turn in a heavy traffic area, he looked like a tool, tires spinning, noise, throwing his back end all around, etc.

No reflection on you LB, I've experienced the same thing after turning right and shifting from 1 to 2, the traction light comes on briefly and I feel the engine slow down momentarily till the ECU considers the slip event over.
