I'm a huge fan of both cars so I end up missing one when I'm in the other.
If the sports car driving feel is more important to you, keep the Z. If you can give some of that up in favor of power and speed, the 5.0 is a good option. You can still turn it into a corner carving beast, but it's a bigger, heavier car so it's not going to feel like a sports car. The Z is smaller, a little lighter, and generally more direct. It's like if a 5.0 and a S2000 had a baby. A happy medium.

The 5.0 is a great car, but let's face it, it's nothing to get excited over when you see one down the road. It's definitely got the grunt, but choosing a car you like is more than just picking the most powerful. I think the Nismo is definitely unique and one that will someday become a collectable. It's a solid car and very few built overall.

I could be wrong but I would assume that a Nismo would hold much better value than a 5.0 mustang after a while. Sure is ALOT more rare.
Either way, good luck man ! |

Yeah but I mean no one's in the market for a nismo with 80k miles tho. On paper it's worth much more than what the market will allow for.

:![]() ![]() That dealer is horrible and I don't blame Nissan, not for all of it. I do think of all the high-end dealers I've felt with the have a lot to be desired. You may think Nissan = high end When you are spending a 100k+ on a car you'd like to be treated like a human being. I don't expect them to wash/detail it like BMW, Infiniti, Audi .....but some customer service would be nice ![]() Think about how much we paid for, love and baby our cars. All I'm saying is some customer service (love) would go a long way I just wish they would treat our cars like we do.

Yeah, get rid of the Z, and get a car that you will have Absolutely NO problems with. Let me know what that car turns out to be.And my dealer offers a car wash after EVERY service call, no matter how minor, for those who want it. I stopped in to pick up some touch up paint, and they offered me a free wash. Some dealers suck, some don't.

They also offer a free wash anytime. Just drive it by and they'll run it through right quick. It's an old car wash with the big brushes! I bet that's why all their new cars on the lot have swirl marks They also do not follow their own recommended oil weights. The car calls for 0W-20 (full synthetic that costs around $60 at the neighborhood shop). The manual says you can use 5W-20 (synthetic blend) if you can't find 0W-20, but you should only do this once before switching back to the full synthetic. However, the dealer offers $35 oil changes via email coupon. I confirmed that they will never put 0W-20 in it if you use these coupons (I asked specifically). I now change the oil myself because I can use Mobil 1 0W-20 for the same price they charge for 5W-20 and I don't have to be inconvenienced by taking it to the dealer.

If it's not the actual 302? Don't do it.
