Just remove the steering lock fuse when the lock is disengaged and you'll never have to worry about it again. The fuse is solely for the locking mechanism, nothing else.

I am pumped so many people replied to this. last night when i got home i put it in acc and took the fuse box out but could not get it open.(I had it vertical and assumed the trick was to push down on the two tabs and slide the top part of the cover over the lip of the bottom piece?)
I didn't have any lighting so after work today asap I'M PULLLIN OUT! |
