Not yet, but I do have a set of the kelleyfield struts ready to go on. It does look VERY similar to how some peoples hoods looked that were having issues with theirs raising the hood up.

Unless you might have pushed on it from one end some how while it was in open position then yeah, but even in that case u can still twist it back to normal position. Or maybe ur latch is in closed position when u close the hood or defective plz chek be4 comeback.

Those latches on either side of the hood are adjustable. You may want to try pulling out the plastic grommet, removing the plastic cover then loosen or tighten the latch little by little till it shuts correctly.

I had to do this when I installed my CF Seibon Hood. Ironically it was the driver side also that was not shutting correctly. In my case I had to loosen the latch a little bit for it to catch. This allowed the latch to drop further into the locking mechanism.

Thanks man didn't know if there was any adjustability. Thinking about it now all CF hoods use the stock latches so there must be some wiggle room.
