no problem man, cos I do believe VDC in snow/icy condition, otherwise I would have total my 350z (I used to have one) twice on icy road. |

Someone in the OK Z club saw this car and posted pics trying to figure out who it was. Glad you are ok, it looked nasty. That storm was bad and I am glad I still have my old jeep because the roads were solid ice and there isn't much you can do. I know a guy in the Z club who was selling his 2011 Nismo, not sure if he has sold it yet but if you want I can ask. He is only selling it so he can buy a new house. It's Black too

Glad your alright, there's nothing you can do sometimes and ice patches are just pray it's not a big patch. RWD, FWD, AWD, or as many wheels as you want, zero traction is zero traction.
IMO get any cheap beater, FWD or AWD would not have changed the out come of what happened there. |

Tire racks ice rink tests for winter ice/snow tires would highly disagree with you. They're over half the stopping difference of a summer and half that distance is an all season. Say he slid 100 feet, he could have stopped and regained control in 50. Plus in 4 years of winter driving on ice/snow tires I've never once come close to slipping on ice.
