Anyone padded the paddle shifters?

Seems like you can possibly find some nice 1/8" padding and cut small strips so your fingers can sit nicely against the other side of the paddles... There was another

Seems like you can possibly find some nice 1/8" padding and cut small strips so your fingers can sit nicely against the other side of the paddles...

There was another thread where someone threw little vibration reducers/plastic pieces between the paddle and steering column so that the shifts were shorter to pull on the paddles.. kind of a cool idea

Yea that is a cool idea. I thought about the strips too but I want one solid piece so no dirt can enter. The custom cut ought to be fun.
