Passed a GT-R on the road today, looked like a Camry! I'd rather have three 370Z's!

The Z definitely has a totally different look than the gtr. People who know nothing about the 2 cars would probably consider the Z sportier looking. I'd even say its "sportier" looking in some ways. I love my Z to death, but give me a gtr in a strait up trade and I'm taking it all day every day and twice on Sundays. Also I think I've only ever seen 3 total gtrs out in the wild in my life.

If you want a REAL shock, go to Porsche's website and price a 918. I about had a stroke.

Let's not go overboard here. Where is the humility? To think our Z's are better than the GTR and the 4s and then downplay and compare it to a Camry is ridiculous. Too funny.

Depends on the comparison, I was talking looks. Performance, well that would be a silly comparison. For consideration and pot stirring-ness, I looked up exterior dimensions on a new Camry and the new Nismo GT-R and they are only a few inches apart on height, width and length. I'd take a GTR over the 370 or Porsche 4S any day of the week!

I think Porsches are incredible sportscars. They are the better car, objectively. The problem is just one of price:sport ratio. A lot of Porsche owners can't really afford to have fun in a Porsche (as in drive it like it's meant to be driven and track it regularly). If you've got the kind of bankroll to really afford abusing and tracking a Porsche, then yeah go for it. But if you can just barely afford to buy a nice Porsche but then you have to baby it and worry about it and never really push it.... yeah, you're gonna find yourself wishing you had a cheaper Z that you could afford to tear up the pavement with.
