2 years ago, I traded my Mustang GT for the Z and had buyer's remorse until I picked up the keys to my new car. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing bad to say about the Z, or any other foreign car for that matter, it just isn't my cup of tea. It wasn't for a lack of trying. In the 2 years I had my car, I racked up over 32,000 miles...each one enjoyable...and it would easily have been more if I wasn't trying not to drive it into the ground. It was always a fine sight to see when walking through the parking lot and caching the 2/3 profile view of the Z. I would often peek into the garage to catch a view...it really is a pretty car.
The Z community, especially the guys and girls on this forum, are a great bunch of people. I wish I could have been as enthusiastic about the car as most of you are. I met a lot of interesting people here and made a few friends. I learned a lot from the people on this forum. I tackled some mods and got more than a few technical answers here.
I'll probably continue to lurk around here, because it is an interesting forum, but now I'll be a real outsider....one that drives a 'Vette!!
