Default What is the spot just above where the rear fog light is supposed to go?

This evening when admiring my car I looked at the fog light and wondered WHY did they not put one in there. Then I noticed a little square a few inches above the fog light spot, a little square that looks like it can pop out. See it here?



Anyone know what it is for? (Pic is not my car)
