I was at my dealer this Wednesday getting my brakes pads replaced. While there the service writer came to me and told me about a recall for the steering lock. I informed him that they had already replaced my unit with the 4th. version and that soon after that I pulled the fuse. He did not know about the issues with other 370's and thanked me for the info. He said that in the future he is going to tell others about the fuse.

If yours is a '10 with less than 40K on it, it will be a warrantee repair anyway. Let them replace the steering lock, then follow the directions in this forum and pull the fuse. You will hever have to worry about it again.

fixed. there is no nissan remedy for this as the RevD's are also known to fail. you have to pull the fuse or cut brown wire while the steering lock is good. that is the permanent cure, it seems.

that said, i still have my working RevB in the trunk with tools at all times. my car runs RevC.
